2. What This Website Is

solerno.ai is the public site of an applied AI lab. It publishes work, notes, and company information. It is not a checkout, account, or analytics product.

3. What Data We Collect

We may process:

  • Correspondence: name, email address, and whatever you send to info@solerno.ai, support@solerno.ai, or admin@solerno.ai
  • Client-project material: only when we have a written engagement — briefs, files, and access you give us to do the work
  • Technical logs: IP address, user agent, and requested URL, as part of hosting and security

This website does not run advertising pixels, tracking cookies, or analytics scripts.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To reply to you and run the lab
  • To deliver work we have agreed to do
  • To keep the site available and secure
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax records

5. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process personal data on these bases:

  • Contract: when we need it to deliver agreed work
  • Legitimate interest: answering inbound mail, securing the site
  • Legal obligation: tax and accounting retention
  • Consent: where we ask for it, including any future marketing mail

6. Processors

Email, hosting, and infrastructure vendors may process data to provide those services. We do not sell personal data. We do not run a payment form on this website.

7. Data Retention

  • Email: kept as long as the conversation and any follow-on work require, then deleted when no longer needed
  • Client files: kept for the engagement and a reasonable archive period, unless we agree otherwise
  • Legal records: kept for the period Dutch law requires
  • Server logs: kept only as long as the host needs for operations and security

You may ask for earlier deletion, subject to legal obligations.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you may:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (the right to be forgotten)
  • Port your data to another provider
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies and does not show a cookie consent banner.

10. Security

We use HTTPS and limit who can access lab systems. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Report a vulnerability to admin@solerno.ai or see security.txt.

11. International Transfers

The lab is in the Netherlands. Some vendors may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, we expect Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page will change when we do.
